The Galapagos Sea Star Journey is a boutique yacht specially designed to offer a cozy environment while enjoying the nature. Built to fit 16 passengers, the service onboard is 100% personalized lead by the cruise director and local crew members.
The yacht has eight cabins distributed in two decks. The main deck cabins have panoramic windows, convenient and comfortable. Each one measures 25 m2 (269 ft2), with a sofa bed that can be used to converting in a triple cabin. The bathrooms have hot water, hair dryer, and biodegradable amenities to minimize the impact of tourist activities in the archipelago.
The other four cabins are located on the upper deck with a privileged view of the Galapagos Islands, either from the corridor or from the panoramic windows. These cabins are also interconnected, so they are ideal for hosting families. In this deck, there are also private dining table available under the previous request for special occasions, and also a resting area for enjoying the astonishing landscape of the Enchanted Islands.
At the Sun Deck, the guests will be able to rest or relax in one of the two hot tubs, one shaded and the other one under the sun. At this area, there are plenty of sunbeds for enjoying the breathtaking sunset after a long day of expedition off shore.
Regarding the itineraries, there are three main journeys that can be done onboard the Galapagos Sea Star. There is one of five days and four nights that visit the eastern and northeastern side of the archipelago (Itinerary B). Additionally, there are other two itineraries that visit the southeast and central part of the islands (Itin A) and the other goes to the western islands where the flightless cormorant or penguins are allocated (Itin C). Therefore, there is possible to combine more than one itinerary and sail the Galapagos for up to 15 days.
Finally, the Sea Star Journey is committed to delivering an unforgettable experience that enhances the jewels that the Galapagos Islands have to offer to travelers, as well as supporting the environment by following and promoting the rules that regulate the National Park, always through its naturalist certified guide and the local crew members.
